Birdhead - Tourist (Remixes)
Release Date: 2012-06-25
Birdhead have been tipped for 2012 by BBC Radio’s ‘Introducing’ show and continually plugged by Vic Galloway for their Kraftwerk meets Krautrock hi-energy sound. That same sound recently landed them a support slot with Death in Vegas.
Remixes on the EP come via Monosapiens, Tiny Casino and Audiosyncracy who cover everything from the funky break to the tec rewire.

Just stumbled across this - Scrawl Collective’s Ric Blackshaw introducing the Scion Space LA Scrawl show from 2008…
A recent mini-interview on Russian site My Moleskine. I don’t use Moleskin books but that didn’t seem to matter. Its all in Russian - using Google translate it says “London artist is Phil Ashcroft poised between two worlds: the real and fictional. Contrasting colors, sharp edges, nuclear plants, the ruins and the complete absence of people in jobs.” - I found that last bit quite amusing, I guess its true though…
